Project Results

In the framework of this project, we have developed a best practice guide, to be used by practitioners supporting migrant women, peer support guides, to be used by migrant women themselves and a collection of learning materials hosted on a digital e-platform.

Best Practice guide for practitioners

The best practice guide is aimed at practitioners who could engage and support migrant women in peer support activities. It provides a comprehensive description of the benefits of volunteering and peer support for migrant women, how to initiate a volunteering programme, and advice on how to approach important issues including safeguarding, training, documentation, communication and impact measurement.

Peer Support Guide

The peer support guides are aimed at migrant women to inform and inspire them to deliver quality peer support activities, including language learning, creative activities, and workplace skills.

Learning Materials

Training for migrant women, organisations already working with them, and organisations wanting to start working with migrant women for the first time.

A project video, which has been incorporated into this output, will help to raise awareness of the project outputs, and how they can help migrant women and organisations working with them.
